Founder: Lize De Clercq

Lize De Clercq is a sociologist and economist that works as a webcontent facilitator, researcher, webjournalist, trainer and project manager for non-profit projects that want to overcome the digital divide and promote free software.
- Lize is the founder and president of the non-profit organization that holds Eclectica DV and takes care of the coordination and accountancy.
- Lize is also the founder of the projects Datafighters, Vila Eclectica and Planeta Eclectica, and takes care of the research, production and financing of these projects.
She has been working for Esplai Foundation (Barcelona) as the webcontent facilitator of the social network www.telecentre-europe.org, a european network of telecentres. She also worked for 4 years at Interface3 (Brussels), as a researcher, webjournalist and content manager for www.ada-online.org, a Belgian government campaign on women & new technologies.
Besides writing, Lize does freelance work in web 2.0 training, video editing and multilingual translating & subtitling. In 2004, together with Gianluca Saporito, CandidaTV (Rome) & Greenpepper Magazine (Amsterdam), she produced and coordinated the DVDmagazine P2PFightsharing III: “Precarity”.
